From a love of classical, film and game music I began composing original music for a variety of projects in parallel to my work as a music instructor (PVG certified). I love music by John Williams, Korngold, Rimsky-Korsakov, Holst, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Gershwin, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky in particular.
I've many years' experience teaching piano at some of Scotland's leading independent schools including Glenalmond College, Craigclowan Preparatory School, Queen Victoria School and The High School of Glasgow. Experience in ensemble coaching, classroom music teaching, conducting orchestra and accompanying in ABRSM, Trinity, Cambridge Pre-U exams and in lunchtime and evening concerts. |
